DIDACTIC ASPECTS IN VOCAL ART
The European and universal research in the field of vocal art is centred on a multiple perspective approach both in what the pedagogy and the vocal singing are concerned. Therefore, there are canto congresses organized annually in different parts of the world, which confirm the truth that the functional education of the voice , based on the bel canto old school, is the only one consecrated over the years. One of the main concerns of each student, future opera singer, ought to be the achievement of technical and interpretative skills specific to this field and fully develop them during his/her entire life. Natural talent and hard work represent the ideal formula for a true career in the lyrical theatres all over the world. The part that the professor plays in the vocal education is of utmost importance. The experience of the great masters in the opera field transposed in singing methods books, is a real guide for the modern teacher of vocal art, but besides that the latter also ought to possess vast knowledge from other different domains as well as the sense to recognize the good parts in the student's voice and qualities and the things that should be corrected. ... -

"Reality show" In painting, sculpture and graphics cannot exist. The basic concept is different. The white sheet or canvas acquires some value only in the author's personal world- his most valuable domain. ... -

THE METAMORPHOSIS OF ARCHAIC ELEMENTS IN CONTEMPORARY ROMANIAN MUSIC
Stylization of folk structures which are specific until getting to the essence, by testing archetypes - represents a phenomenon of synthesis between elements proper to the archaic music and their adaptation in the context of certain individual processes of a compositional labor. At this level it resorts to a specific ethos, which can only be suggested, by the use of different structures that highlights elements of specific language, structures that appear as a dialectic of folk creation, in which an element that is qualitatively realized in another element, closely related to the other parts of the song, it also represents a clear manifestation of the rhythmic-melodic interdependence in the achievement of the logical unity of the whole. In the context of searching and adapting the modal ethos of modern, universal languages, the interpretations given by the compositors to the modal structures and mechanisms, rhythmic system, architectonic parameters, get deeper and refined; based on folk-style melodic microstructures some composers have created their own ways of musical expression in accordance to each other's aesthetic creed and artistic orientation, by means of a reconstructive engagement to the distant pass of sound art. ... -

VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL LANGUAGE IN THEATRICAL COMMUNICATION
For the actor, especially for the begginer actor, in the moment of the first rehearsals on the stage, there can appear two frustrating problems. The first one " What should I do now?" and the second one, maybe the most wrenching one, " What should I do with the hands?". Such a study basen on the interference between the comunication science and the art of acting, may give answer to many unknowns of this type. ... -

FROM AESTHETICS TO ETHICS THE SOCIAL FUNCTION OF ART
What today we call works of art have been used once as objects in current use, whether in the religious rituals, either in the daily life. With time, however, these works of art is no longer tied to a utility immediately, and artistic creation becomes a part of stand-alone social activity. Through its genesis, structure and its functions, by its institutionalized forms by a variety of genres and forms under which manifest themselves, by ongoing exchanges on which it has with the company and the nature, art, as a means of reflection through the images and processing of social reality, set up a self-contained field or related within the sphere of culture. Never have we seen a indifference to sociological problem of the art. Don't be such a big surprise to us that this trend was more pronounced in contemporary era. This means that the social factor of art became more pronounced in the 20th century-th both descriptive value, as well as the normative. ... -

COSTA GAVRAS – BETWEEN Z AND AMEN
As a renowned and controversial personality, director Costa Gavras is the promoter of French political thriller. His movies are variations on the theme of totalitarian abuses, with disputing topics and a heavy social-economic impact upon the thriller and suspense films of hollywoodian origin. Through the heavy impact a film has upon its audience, through the releasing of various human reactions (moral, educational and emotional), between detachment and envolvement, between resolution and indecision, between learning the truth or not - Costa Gavras's filmmaking is a political endeavour. ... -

TRADITIONAL SPANISH MUSICAL GENRES
A lot of references have been made during the 18th and 19th centuries with regard to Andalusian pair-dances (bailes de candil), which are considered to be one of the main sources for flamenco. Similarities as well as differences exist between these bailes de candil and the first flamenco performances: in the bailes de candil, the focus of the whole fiesta was the pair-dance (especially fandango), whereas in flamenco the solo dancing and singing performance by a woman was the main point of interest. La fiesta flamenca was initially organized in patios, coffee houses, theatres, on improvised stages or at festivals and involved a greater or a smaller degree of professionalism and artistic elaboration. A significant contribution in shaping the flamenco song has been brought by the models of the time (for example, cana, polo, various tonas, romances, playeras, serranas and fandangos - the malaguena and rondena types); in dancing, el bolero, among other solo types of dancing, such as cachucha, ole, jaleo, malaguena, torero and zapateado, represented an ambient whose elements have been adopted by flamenco aesthetics. ... -

A STUDY OF THE DOBROGEAN LIPOVAN RUSSIAN WEDDING REPERTOIRE
Living mainly in the Romanian counties of Tulcea, Braila, Constanta and Ialomita, Lipovan Russians are a small ethnic group (consisting of about 40,000 people) of Russian origin (Eastern Slavs). One of the most important events in human life is the wedding. The nuptial ceremony amongst Lippovan communities has preserved a very high number of ethnic features within the stages of wooing, engagement and the wedding ceremony itself. All these stages have been preserved and have gradually adapted to changing times under the influence of modernity and pressures from without. Regarding the traditional music of the Lipovan Russians we can say that it bridges a period of profound change. All these changes demonstrate that the tradition has not disappeared, but that the music adapts to conditions imposed by society and progress. The evolution and development of the Dobrogean Lipovan Russian community has led to their adaptation of their repertoire to instruments borrowed from neighbouring ethnic groups: these include the electronic organ, the accordion, and percussion instruments. ... -

THE UNIQUENESS OF THE WORD ‘MOLLIPEDES’ IN CICERO’S PROGNOSTICA IV10-11
The article uses the word 'mollipedes' as a point of repair in its attempt to re-examine the didactic poetry of Aratus and Cicero. The three title words used by the authors, namely Phaenomena, Diosemeia, and Prognostica, will be found to have the etymological capacity to suggest that the writers' true agenda relates not to inexplicable portents of the weather but to the scientific causes of natural phenomena. However these etymologies also suggest that the rhetoric by which this new discourse is accessed will be oracular. That is, in complete contradistinction to what appears to be the case, the arguments of these authors will prove to be sibylline, while their material will prove to be scientific. The brunt of the article will consist in detailed analyses of specific passages from Cicero's Prognostica and Aratus' Diosemeia. It is hoped these analyses will show that an array of subversive literary techniques are laid by these authors at the service of an agenda that seeks to convey to posterity the truth about the way the ancient world was perceived by its literary elite. In the final analysis Cicero's word 'mollipedes' proved to have a fatal flaw which rendered it unattractive to his successors. However for our purposes it will serve as a totemic indicator of the literary programme Cicero and Aratus bequeathed to the world. Had Cicero not used the word, the discovery of our thread would have been virtually impossible. ... -

THE IASI SCHOOL OF MUSICOLOGY
Music proves to be an axis of the human spirituality which establishes a connection between the ephemerality and eternity. By means of vibrational energy, music, which is art and science alike, expresses, builds, uplifts and transcends the experiences and the feelings of any human being endowed with conscience. Musicology is the science which comprises the complex music, in a practical and teorethical way, diachronical and synthetical, and also esthetical way. The musicologist is the complex artistic personality which sums all the knowledge of these subjects, subjects which interpenetrate. In time, musicologists from Iasi, have intensivly manifested their intelectual authority. They represent the third fulcrum, grographically and spiritually, of a third that fulfills the harmony of the contraries, Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi: Theodor T. Burada (1839-1923), Eduard Caudella (1841-1924), Titus Cerne (1859-1910), George Pascu (1912-1996), Mihail Cozmei (n.1931), Liliana Gherman (b. 1939), Laura Otilia Vasiliu (n.1958). ... -

WAYS AND MEANS OF TRAINING AND EDUCATING THE VOICE
Voice is the tool that can create art - the art of singing - without any complement because voice is not only the product of the vocal cord vibration but the product of the whole perfect human body. Although in educating any type of voice, the benchmarks taken into account are considered the same, they still require adjustment submitted by a certain type of voice. Native predispositions determined by the country of origin and by the spoken language manifests in a number of features of the voices, recognized in the singing technique of the singers trained in one school or another. Voice training and education is based on principles considered by experts as generally valid, on exercises specific to a field of singing and taking into consideration all the features that exclusively regard the individuals. ... -

HE UNIVERSITY – A STATE OF MIND
This paper brings the reader's attention to the importance of the transition from the traditional to the postmodern teaching process that is part of the development of teaching. In the panoply of professions, teaching has acquired, over the years, the merit to stand first. Contemporary society owes much to teaching, given the importance of education in developing a morally and informational healthy society. In postmodern teaching the three characteristics of the educational process: teaching, learning and assessment are no longer separate. The assessment also comes along with the other two, in a continuous process. The conclusion of my research paper emphasizes the need of a teaching carrier based on a perpetual process of learning, as a guarantee for quality, and the ability to adapt to changes that we all witness, generated the circle of knowledge. ... -

AESTHETIC ATTITUDES ASSOCIATED WITH MUSICAL POSTMODERNISM
Postmodernism is presented as a form of liberation from the rigors imposed by establishing high standards of quality, with the intention to provide a more accessible art form. The modernist current has contributed to a form of sealing the art around an elite group hardly letting art to be savored and understood by the public. With its innovative ideas on dismantling the rigorous barriers of elitist art, the postmodernism will threaten the preset aesthetic standards to constitute a better level of understanding of contemporary art which is dictated by taste and opinion. ... -
